: /n Title: Academic Counsellor /n Location: Janak Puri /n Job Summary /n We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents in making informed decisions about academic programs, courses, and career pathways. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs. /n Key Responsibilities /n Counsel students and parents regarding academic programs, courses, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities. /n Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, goals, and requirements. /n Provide accurate information about courses, admission processes, curriculum, and career prospects. /n Handle student and parent queries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels. /n Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions. /n Maintain regular communication with leads and ensure timely follow-ups. /n Achieve individual and team counselling/admission targets. /n Conduct counselling sessions, presentations, webinars, and orientation programs when required. /n Maintain accurate records of student interactions, enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM/Excel. /n Coordinate with the admissions, academic, and operations teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding process. /n Support students throughout the admission process and resolve basic queries promptly.



/n Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure a positive student experience. /n Stay updated on courses, academic policies, industry trends, and career opportunities. /n Required Skills /n Excellent verbal and written communication skills. /n Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities. /n Good listening and relationship-building skills. /n Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance. /n Positive convincing and negotiation skills. /n Target-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. /n Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM tools. /n Ability to handle multiple enquiries and follow-ups efficiently. /n Strong presentation and problem-solving skills. /n Eligibility /n Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred. /n 1–4 years of experience in academic counselling, student counselling, admissions, education sales, career counselling, or a related role. /n Fresh graduates with strong communication and counselling skills may also be considered for suitable entry-level positions. /n Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /n Student enquiries handled and counselled. /n Lead-to-admission conversion rate. /n Follow-up effectiveness. /n Admission/enrolment targets achieved. /n Student and parent satisfaction. /n CRM/data accuracy and timely updates. /n Response and follow-up turnaround time. /n Work Location: In person
