Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer to join a leading technology-focused organization in the networking and infrastructure industry for a hybrid long-term contract position based in RTP, NC . The Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer will serve as a key technical resource responsible for endpoint architecture, device management, systems administration, and security across a large-scale enterprise environment.

This role requires hands-on expertise with Windows endpoints, Active Directory, Windows Server, thin client technologies, and support of a predominantly Mac-based laptop environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer include:

- Design, deploy, and support enterprise endpoint solutions across Windows desktops, thin clients, virtual desktop environments, and macOS devices.
- Administer and enhance endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and related device lifecycle management tools.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server infrastructure, authentication services, and endpoint security configurations.
- Support thin client deployments and troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, virtualization, and performance-related issues.
- Partner with infrastructure and security teams to implement endpoint hardening, software distribution, patch management, and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications for the Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer include:

- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows environments with a focus on endpoint engineering and systems administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory,



Group Policy, and endpoint management technologies.
- Expertise working with Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint automation.
- Experience supporting and maintaining thin client environments and virtual desktop technologies.
- Familiarity with macOS administration and endpoint management within predominantly Mac-based user environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, endpoint security, networking, and authentication services.
- Experience with enterprise security tools, endpoint protection platforms, and device compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Compensation for the Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer: Salary Range: $127,000-$137,000/year (USD) Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and additional company-sponsored perks.
