We are looking for a Data Scientist/Modeller with strong experience in credit risk and growth

modelling for consumer lending. The role involves building acquisition scorecards,

propensity and intent models, and driving data-led decisioning across underwriting and

growth.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop Acquisition Scorecards (NTC/thin-file/full-file)

● Build Affluence / Income estimation models

● Develop Propensity & Intent models for cross-sell and customer targeting

● Design behavioral scorecards for portfolio management

● Perform feature engineering using bureau, banking, and behavioral data

● Work on model deployment, monitoring, and recalibration

● Partner with Risk, Product, and Growth teams to optimize approval rate vs credit cost

Required Skills

● Strong expertise in Python & PySpark

● Hands-on experience with ML models (XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)





● Experience in credit risk modelling / scorecards

● Strong SQL and data analysis skills

● Exposure to LLM / NLP use cases (good to have)

● Understanding of consumer lending / bureau data

Preferred Profile

● Experience in Fintech / NBFC / Banking (Retail Lending)

● Hands-on exposure to end-to-end model lifecycle

● Solid problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

● 3-5 years of experience
