1. The person should be able to own assignments and deliver independently

2. Valuable understanding of sheet-metal manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining fits/tolerances, GD&T; etc.

3. Exposure to various materials selection (metal, plastics, sealings etc.) & foldable joints

4. Sub-system design considering design for manufacturing (DFM) & assembly (DFA) aspect.

5. Valuable communication skills - written & oral to technically interact with customer contacts

6. Flexible to work onsite at customer office & factory as & when necessary

7. Need to be a good team player to work efficiently with other stakeholders in a project

Skills (Must have) : -

1. Minimum 3 years hands on experience in 'SolidWorks' software (design, modelling,



assembly & drafting)

2. Good proficiency needed in sheet-metal, fabrication, machining fits/tolerances, GD&T; etc. for preparation of fabrication & manufacturing drawings

3. Domain knowledge in 'off-highway vehicles or helicopters' will be an added advantage

Skills (Optional) : - exposure to plastics will be an added advantage

Experience as design engineer in fabrication & modular foldable assembly of sub-systems in off-highway vehicles, aerospace or defense industry is desired.
