We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to build and maintain scalable backend microservices. The role involves developing services using Java, Spring Boot, or Dropwizard, designing database schemas, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.

Role & responsibilities:

- Develop code in Java using contemporary frameworks such as Springboot and dropwizard.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage end-to-end development of projects
- Help maintain code quality, structure, and automation standards.
- Integration of data storage solutions (MySQL, Dynamo DB).
- Deployment and maintenance in AWS cloud.
- Design and build secure REST-APIs that will be consumed by front end applications.
- Continuously refactor & improve current code base.
- Unit testing of backend applications.




- Build Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery pipeline for all components of the project.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Strong grasp of Java and its core concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and its advanced features.
- Proficiency with the Dropwizard framework.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS).
- Experience writing unit tests with mocking frameworks.
- Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and schema design.
- Proficient with Hibernate/JPA for database integration.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Understanding of scalable application design principles.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Strong knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
