About the Role:
We are a manufacturing unit specializing in eco-friendly, compostable, and biodegradable carry bags, grocery bags, and garbage bags based out of Baroda, Gujarat.

We are hiring 3 to 4 result-driven Business Development Executives who will be based out of the various cities like Bangalore, Ernakulam/Kochi and Mumbai to scale our wholesale and distribution network across Karnataka, Kerala and Mumbai region.

This is an active field sales role requiring up to 14 days of travel per month within their designated districts in the state to meet prospective Distributors, Wholesalers, and institutional bulk buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

# Distributor & Wholesaler Acquisition: Identify, map, and onboard key packaging distributors, wholesalers, and stockists across Mumbai, Karnataka and Kerala.

# Statewide Market Coverage: Perform extensive field visits across assigned state territories, spending approximately 14 days a month on outstation/regional travel.

#Order Generation & Closing: Present product catalogs, negotiate commercial terms, close initial stocking orders, and secure recurring bulk sales.

#Pipeline & Relationship Management:



Maintain long-term relationships with channel partners, track order cycles, ensure timely payment collections, and meet monthly sales targets.

#Market Intelligence: Monitor regional competitor pricing, distributor feedback, and state-level policy shifts around single-use plastic alternatives.

Requirements & Skills:

# Experience: 1 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B field sales, FMCG sales, channel sales, or distributor onboarding.

#Travel Willingness: Open to frequent regional travel (~14 days/month across Karnataka/Kerala towns and districts).

#Industry Preference: Prior background in packaging, FMCG distribution, adaptable plastics, or eco-friendly/compostable products is preferred.

Language Skills:

- Bangalore Base (Karnataka Region): Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi and English is preferred, but not essential
- Ernakulam/ Kochi Base (Kerala Region): Proficiency in Malayalam and English is preferred, but not essential

- Mumbai Base (Mumbai Region): Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English is preferred, but not essential

Mobility: Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively via public transport/vehicle.

Core Competencies: Strong cold-calling skills, sales skills, deal negotiation, distributor networking and target oriented.

Salary: Fixed Base Salary + Performance-linked Sales Incentives.
