Avendus Capital Equity Capital Markets Associate Vice President (AVP)

JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Vice President (AVP) willdrive execution of equity capital markets transactions, manage client and investorinteractions, internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful dealclosure. In addition, contribute to business & franchise developmentinitiatives, while independently owning key execution workstreams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. TransactionExecution

- Drive execution of ECM transactions - IPOs, QIPs, blocks and other capital markets deals

- Own transaction workstreams from initiation to closure, ensuring timelines and regulatory compliance

- Manage roadshows, investor education, book-building, and pricing discussions

- Coordinate post-issue activities through listing and stakeholder closure

2. StakeholderManagement

- Manage interactions with clients, investors, regulators, legal advisors, and auditors

- Coordinate with internal teams (sector coverage, sales, trading, compliance) for seamless execution

- Lead investor engagement - teach-ins, pre-deal education, roadshows, and query resolution. P artner strongly with the sales team to drive investor engagement and ensure regular updates.

3. BusinessDevelopment

- Track ECM trends, sector development and fundraising activity to identify opportunities

- Prepare high-quality pitch materials and client presentations in collaboration with coverage wherever needed or independently.

- Build relationships with clients, promoters, and key market participants

FranchiseDevelopment

- Drive thought leadership through newsletters, reports, and market commentary

- Mentor junior team members by sharing product and market knowledge and enhancing their capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILL-SET & EXPERIENCE

- MBA/PGDM (premier institute) or CA, with 45 years in ECM / Investment Banking

- Strong grasp of ECM products, fundraising processes, and transaction lifecycle

- Hands-on experience across IPOs, QIPs, Blocks and similar transactions

- Strong financial analysis, valuation, and capital markets judgment

- Effective multi-stakeholder management and transparent, structured communication

- High ownership and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
