Key responsibilities include:
- Handling end-to-end logistics of marine spare parts and shipping components.
- Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, courier companies, customs agents, ship agents and vessels.
- Arranging air freight, sea freight, courier and road transportation.
- Preparing and checking shipping and export/import documentation.
- Tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery to vessels/required destinations.
- Coordinating urgent marine spare shipments and vessel deliveries.
- Obtaining and negotiating freight quotations.
- Coordinating customs clearance and resolving shipment-related issues.
- Maintaining shipment records, tracking reports and logistics documentation.
- Checking freight/logistics invoices and coordinating with the concerned departments.
- Providing regular shipment status updates to management.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with prior experience in marine spare parts logistics, ship management, vessel supplies, freight forwarding, shipping agency, or international logistics will be preferred.
