Job Description Sales & Marketing Executive (Entry Level)

1. Job Purpose

To support the company's sales and marketing activities by developing recent customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, generating enquiries, following up on quotations and orders, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development

- Identify and approach potential customers in the assigned market/territory.
- Generate new sales enquiries through telephone calls, emails, visits, references and market research.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and understand their requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, samples, trials and purchase orders.
- Assist senior sales staff in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a database of existing and prospective customers.
- Develop new markets and applications for the company's chemical products.

B. Product Knowledge

- Develop a good understanding of the company's products, specifications, applications and packaging.

C. Customer Coordination

- Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
- Coordinate for preparation and submission of quotations.




- Follow up for customer feedback after quotation/sample submission.
- Maintain records of customer complaints and coordinate with the concerned department for resolution.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers.

D. Order & Dispatch Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Logistics, Accounts and QA/QC for execution of customer orders.
- Monitor order status and communicate expected dispatch dates to customers.
- Follow up for pending payments in coordination with the Accounts/Credit Control team.
- Ensure proper documentation related to sales and dispatch.

E. Market Research

- Collect information about competitors, market prices, new products and market trends.
- Identify potential industries and applications for the company's products.
- Prepare basic market reports and customer lists.
- Track competitor activities and provide feedback to the Sales Manager.

F. Sales Administration & MIS

- Maintain daily/weekly sales activity reports.
- Update CRM customer databases regularly.
- Prepare enquiry, quotation, order and customer follow-up reports.
- Maintain records of customer visits and discussions.
