Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer with 1-4 years of experience who has strong hands-on knowledge across AWS security, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices.

- Manage AWS security components including IAM, VPC, security groups, NACLs, KMS, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.

- Provision and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS environments using CloudWatch and related services.

- Build and support data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Kinesis, or DMS.

- Ensure data security, reliability, and performance across cloud and data platforms.

- Collaborate with application, data, and analytics teams to support business requirements.

- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in a technology-related domain such as Computer Science,



Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies.

- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, SysOps Administrator, or similar) is an added advantage.

- Strong knowledge of core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.

- Good understanding of AWS security best practices and cloud infrastructure design.

- Working knowledge of data engineering concepts and AWS data services is preferred.

- Basic scripting or programming skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

Nice to Have

- Experience with container services such as ECS or EKS.

- Exposure to Snowflake, Redshift, or data lake architectures.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with monitoring, cost optimization, and performance tuning on AWS.
