POSITION SUMMARY

The Admission Counsellor guides prospective families through the admission process and converts enquiries into confirmed admissions. The role combines counselling, consultative selling and disciplined record-keeping, and reports to the Head Counsellor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Attend to walk-ins, calls and online enquiries, and give every prospective family personal attention, coordinating with the marketing, academic, transport and finance teams as required

▪ Complete the counselling sheet during the first consultation and carry out a thorough needs analysis

▪ Conduct campus tours that present the school's facilities, curriculum and programmes effectively

▪ Communicate and anchor the fee structure with confidence, in line with the family's requirements

▪ Guide families through the application, documentation and deadlines, coordinate assessment scheduling, and communicate outcomes sensitively

▪ Nurture leads through structured follow-up on calls, WhatsApp and email, working towards same-day closures

▪ Own the lead life cycle end to end,



up to handover to the academic team

▪ Record every enquiry in the school's ERP the same day, and generate daily and weekly reports on enquiry status, conversion and source performance

▪ Build relationships with preschools, parents, vendors and other referral sources, and represent the school at open houses, fairs and community events

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

▪ 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, customer service or sales

▪ Prior experience in a school or education setting is preferred

▪ Excellent verbal and written communication, with high empathy and robust listening skills

▪ Sales aptitude with a consultative approach, and the ability to work to targets

▪ Strong attention to detail, with working knowledge of MS Office and ERP or CRM systems

▪ Graduation in any stream; a degree in Education, Marketing or a related field is preferred

▪ Fluency in English, with regional language ability an advantage

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Performance is assessed on enquiry-to-admission conversion, counselling sheets submitted against walk-ins recorded on campus, nurturing of non-converted walk-ins, timeliness of follow-up, and accuracy of data entry and reporting.
