Summary:
As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the end-to-end process of transferring data from one system to another. This includes carefully extracting data from source systems, transforming it to meet the requirements of the target setting, and loading it accurately. The role requires continuous monitoring and validation of migration scripts and workflows to maintain data integrity and consistency. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate migration activities and troubleshoot any issues that arise is also a key part of the daily routine, ensuring smooth and successful data migration projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of migration processes and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize migration workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Strong knowledge of data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration and integration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools to streamline migration tasks.
- Understanding of database concepts and data modeling principles relevant to data warehousing.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
