JOB DESCRIPTION: Manager / Sr Manager / AGM

DEPARTMENT: API Sales & Marketing

LOCATION: MSN Corporate Office, Hitech City, Hyderabad

ROLE

Demand & Dispatch Planning

- Demand Planning: Oversees the demand planning process by integrating order book and forecasted demand, thus preparing accurate demand plan, which will translate into production plan to ensure > 95% OTIF, with optimal inventory levels
- Dispatch Planning: Coordinating with production planning, Supply chain, production, QA, QC, Logistics and Sales team to ensure timely dispatches to ensure > 95% OTIF, and enhance customer service levels

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the key responsibilities are as follows –

- Prepare Demand Forecast: Develop and implement a rolling 1+3-month demand plan based on statistical modelling and historical trends
- Facilitate S&OP; Processes: Own and lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with production planning, Supply chain, production, QA, QC, Logistics and Sales team to ensure dispatched planning in line customer expectations
- Support Sales Managers in managing Enquiry to Order for commercial & new products; and Order to Cash cycle including receivables management




- Coordinate with customers for dispatch related communications & documentation support

Other responsibilities can also be added based on business requirements.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

- 10-15 years of experience in large to mid-size API company with experience in demand planning, production planning, supply chain management roles
- Positive Knowledge of API development & manufacturing
- Good understanding of pharma regulatory landscape
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional departments
- Strong analytical skills with High numerical proficiency with a strong capability to interpret large datasets and translate raw numbers into actionable business insights
- System Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with advanced planning tools (such SAP), command in Excel and PowerPoint
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to handle market ambiguity, manage unexpected supply shortages, and quickly adapt strategies during volatile market shifts
- Ability to work and deliver in tight timelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

- B. Tech / M. Pharm / MSc (Chemistry) / B.Sc + MBA (Operations)
- Certifications (Preferred) such as APICS (CPIM or CSCP)
