Technical Writer with 3-5 yrs of experience in the creation of Technical Manuals such as Workshop Manuals, Operators Manuals, Service Bulletins, Assembly Instructions, Knowledge Objects, Schematics, and more for automotive/agriculture equipment. Mandatory Skills: Technical Writing, Simplified Technical English(STE), Automotive DomainRoles&Responsibilities;: - Develop Operators Manual (OM), Workshop Manual (WSM), Assembly Instruction (AI) and related Annotated Topic List (ATL). - Access Engineering Systems and gather material for content creation. - Update ATLs if information is insufficient. - Update the manuals based on ECNs- Review the drafts created and publish them - Update ATL for latest known translation requirements. - Global Process support for other Tech Information teams. Educational Qualification: - BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automobile Engg - 3 to 5 years of experience in Technical Writing,
preferably in Automotive Domain.- Certification in Technical Writing would be an added advantage. Required Skills: - Familiarity with agricultural euipments/automobile parts/components is helpful. - Experience working with electrical schematics will be an added advantage. - Should be able to understand Mechanical Drawings, 3D Models and Orthographic Projections.- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to create/modify illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. - Should be well-versed with Windchill, Arbortext Editor, CreoIllustrate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign - Should have sound knowledge in automotive parts and their applications.- Should be a quick learner and should be able to work independently with a minimum supervision. - Should have positive customer handling skills
