Job Purpose

To undergo practical training in sewing operations and develop the required skills to become a qualified Sewing Operator while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn and perform basic sewing machine operations under the guidance of trainers/supervisors.
- Understand garment construction, sewing methods, and machine functions.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Maintain required quality standards and minimize defects.
- Achieve daily production targets as per skill level.
- Learn proper handling of fabrics, garments, and sewing materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
- Follow all safety instructions and use required PPE.
- Report machine problems, quality issues, and material shortages to the supervisor.
- Attend skill development and on-the-job training programs regularly.
- Develop multi-skill capability by learning different sewing operations.
- Follow company rules, attendance requirements, and disciplinary procedures.

- Freshers / candidates with basic sewing knowledge can apply.
- Previous garment/sewing experience will be an added advantage.
