Hiring: Short-Form Video Editor (Game Reels)
Looking for a video editor to make Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts for an indie game.
The work:
- Raw gameplay footage gets sent to you
- You find the funny moments and cut them into 15–45 second clips
- Beat-matched edits, punchy sound design, text hooks that work with sound off
- AI voiceovers where they fit narration, commentary, character voices
- Ongoing output, not a one-off project
Requirements:
- You watch short-form content and understand why some clips perform and others don't
- Comfortable with AI voice tools (ElevenLabs or similar) and know how to write lines that actually land
- Rapid turnaround, consistent volume
- Gaming content experience is a plus, but strong comedy or meme edits count just as much
Not this role:
- Cinematic trailers
- Anyone who needs a detailed brief for every single clip
