Role Description The Stibo MDM Developer contract role at Elgebra is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Stibo STEP-based Master Data Management solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the developer will implement data models, workflows, business rules, and integrations that support product, customer, and other master data domains. The role includes troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable MDM configurations.

The position is based in Bengaluru in a hybrid model,



combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The developer will also support testing, documentation, and deployment activities to ensure reliable and secure data management across systems.

Qualifications

- Strong Stibo STEP / Stibo MDM skills, including configuration of data models, hierarchies, workflows, business rules, and user interfaces having 7+ years of experience.
- Experience in data management and integration, covering data modeling, data quality, ETL processes, APIs, and integration with ERP, PIM, and other enterprise systems.
- Competence in software development and scripting, such as Java, Groovy, REST services, SQL, or related technologies used to extend and customize Stibo MDM.
- Understanding of master data and governance practices, including data stewardship, standards, metadata management, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and work with cross-functional teams in product, IT, and operations.
- Solid problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams, with readiness to operate from Bengaluru with partial remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
