Role Review:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven SEO Intern who will own the on-page/off-page SEO process end-to-end. This is not a passive learning role; you will follow rigorous, repeatable SEO workflows, build high-quality backlinks, and contribute to measurable improvements in domain authority and organic traffic across Brainberg's web properties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Off-Page SEO

- Research and identify high-DA websites, blogs, directories, and platforms relevant to EdTech, HR Tech, psychometrics, and career guidance
- Execute outreach campaigns for guest posting, link insertions, and editorial backlinks
- Maintain a structured backlink tracker (source, DA, status, anchor text, live URL)
- Submit Brainberg products to relevant directories, listings, and review platforms (G2, Capterra, Product Hunt, etc.)
- Build links through HARO, forum participation, and community engagement
- Monitor backlink health; identify and disavow toxic or broken links

2. On-Page SEO

- Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or Google Keyword Planner
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content for target keywords across Traitfit and Brainberg websites




- Support the content team with SEO briefs and keyword-mapped blog outlines
- Perform regular site audits and flag technical issues (crawl errors, page speed, duplicate content)

3. Reporting & Process

- Maintain weekly SEO reports covering backlink growth, keyword rankings, and organic traffic
- Document all outreach templates, processes, and SOPs for repeatability
- Work closely with the product and marketing team on content strategy aligned to SEO goals

Requirements:

Qualification

- Graduate — B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. from any recognized university
- Engineering background preferred: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines

Certifications (Mandatory)

Must hold a valid Digital Marketing certification from a recognized institution or platform.

What we are looking for:

Must-Have

- Basic to intermediate understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, technical)
- Familiarity with at least one SEO tool Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest, or similar
- Strong written English for outreach emails and content briefs
- High attention to detail and comfort with spreadsheet-based tracking
- Self-starter attitude with ability to follow and improve structured SOPs

Good to Have

- Prior experience with backlinking or outreach (personal projects count)
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Understanding of EdTech, HR Tech, or SaaS content ecosystems
- Experience with outreach tools like Hunter.io, Pitchbox, or BuzzStream
