Role Description The SEO & Backlink Specialist is a remote, contract role responsible for improving WizMantra Academy’s search engine visibility and organic traffic. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, and optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content structure. The specialist will plan and execute ethical link-building campaigns, identify and secure high-quality backlink opportunities, and monitor backlink profiles for quality and relevance.

This role also involves tracking performance using web analytics tools,



preparing SEO reports, and collaborating with content and marketing teams to align optimization efforts with business goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in SEO Audits and technical SEO analysis.
- Candidates should possess proven abilities in Link Building and backlink profile management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics and SEO performance reporting.
- Experience with major search engines, SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and CMS platforms.
- Understanding of white-hat SEO practices, search engine guidelines, and current algorithm trends.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Relevant certification or coursework in digital marketing or SEO is preferred; prior experience in EdTech or online education is an advantage.
