The team combines electrochemical expertise with practical engineering to bring innovative battery energy storage systems (BESS) to market.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Senior Vice President Sales Marketing with required experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role oversees sales and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion for sodium-ion battery solutions. Daily responsibilities include leading sales teams, defining go-to-market plans, managing key customer relationships, and aligning sales operations with business objectives.

The individual will develop and execute marketing campaigns, identify new business opportunities, negotiate high-value contracts, and collaborate with product and technical teams to position solutions effectively. The role also involves forecasting, performance tracking, and representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.





Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets.

- Strong Account Management and Sales Operations skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, and optimizing sales processes.

- Proven Business Development experience, including market analysis, chance identification, and strategic partnership development.

- Extensive experience in BESS or energy storage solutions, preferably including utility-scale or renewable integration projects.

- Strategic marketing skills, including brand positioning, product marketing, and integrated campaign planning in a technical or industrial domain.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with comfort engaging at executive and board levels.

- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, and operations.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in senior leadership roles will be considered.

- Experience in building and scaling sales organizations in emerging technology or energy sectors is highly beneficial.
