Role Description The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure that products are produced safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves planning production schedules, allocating resources, coordinating with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams, and monitoring workflow on the shop floor.

Manager will track production metrics, identify process bottlenecks, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. The role includes supervising and guiding production staff, managing training and performance, enforcing health and safety protocols, and supporting new product or process introductions.

Manager will also prepare reports, maintain documentation, and collaborate with leadership to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production planning and operations management skills, including capacity planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control and food safety, including familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, such as team supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis and use of production metrics for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, food technology, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage shift-based operations when required.
