Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the overall academic, administrative and operational functioning of the school.
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, policies, examination requirements and affiliation norms.
- Drive academic excellence, monitor student performance and implement measures for continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor and evaluate teachers and staff; facilitate professional development.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, child safety, student welfare and safeguarding.
- Oversee admissions, examinations, timetable, co-curricular activities and school events.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, CBSE and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with students, parents, teachers, management and external authorities.
- Prepare and monitor academic and administrative plans, budgets and resource requirements.

Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- B.Ed.



or equivalent teacher-education qualification from a recognised institution.
- Qualification and eligibility should be as prescribed by the applicable CBSE/education department norms.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, preferably in a recognised Senior Secondary/CBSE school.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative/supervisory position, such as Vice-Principal, Headmistress/Headmaster, Academic Coordinator or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Principal of a Senior Secondary/CBSE-affiliated school is a must.
- Solid knowledge of CBSE rules, affiliation requirements, NEP, school administration and academic leadership is desirable.
