Role Description The Operation & Cafe Manager is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the property and its café. This role includes managing staff schedules, ensuring smooth café service, coordinating housekeeping and maintenance, and implementing standard operating procedures for both hospitality and food service. The manager monitors inventory, vendor relationships, and café supplies while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and customer satisfaction.

They handle guest inquiries and feedback, resolve operational issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies.



The role also involves basic financial oversight such as tracking daily sales, controlling costs, and supporting local marketing activities to drive footfall and occupancy.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in operations management within hospitality, serviced apartments, hotels, or café/restaurant environments.
- Strong people management skills, including team leadership, staff training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest queries, manage complaints professionally, and enhance overall guest experience.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations, café workflow, hygiene standards, and inventory management.
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills to manage property operations, vendor coordination, and daily café activities.
- Comfort with using technology for reservations, billing, inventory tracking, and internal communication.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hospitality operations.
- Prior experience in the Pune hospitality or F&B; market is preferred but not mandatory.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.
