Indian Silk House Agencies is a heritage saree and ethnic-wear retail brand (est. 1971) with 70+ stores across India. We're building our merchandising team to lead New Product Development, collection curation, and in-store presentation across our network — with a solid focus on sarees and ethnic wear.

What you'll own:

- New Product Development (NPD) — working with weaving clusters, designer tie-ups, and vendors to build fresh collections season on season
- Collection and range planning across price points and store formats
- Product content and storytelling that helps stores sell, not just stock
- Visual merchandising — display standards, in-store execution across formats




- Working with regional/store teams so merchandising plans land correctly on the floor

What we're looking for:

- Background in Fashion/Textile Design or Fashion Merchandising; a design-institute education (NIFT or equivalent) is a robust plus
- Experience with saree, ethnic wear, or handloom textiles is preferred
- An eye for visual merchandising and retail presentation
- 0–5 years of experience preferred; candidates with 7+ years of deep saree/ethnic-wear category expertise also considered for senior roles
- Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata
