We are seeking a dynamic and proactive skilled with prior experience of working closely with the music artist community and labels - ideally in artist management, distribution or a related domain.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the music ecosystem and a passion for discovering and nurturing emerging talent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify rising independent artists on platforms like Instagram, You
Tube, Spotify etc.
* Sign and manage artists for distribution
* Identify labels / catalogues for acquisition.
Evaluate revenues and close contracts for acquisition
* Negotiate contract with artist
* Collaborate with internal teams and partners for releases
* Monitor and analyze KPI's
* Attend showcases and artist community events
* Build relationships with managers/producers/ songwriters
