The Kitchen Steward supports back-of-house kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and work areas, ensuring the kitchen meets the hygiene and food-safety standards expected of a 5-star hospitality establishment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Wash, sanitise, and store all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment as per hotel hygiene standards.

- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, pot-wash stations, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, exhaust hoods, drains, and waste disposal areas on a scheduled basis.
- Segregate and dispose of kitchen waste in line with hotel and municipal/FSSAI hygiene protocols.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic material handling, stock movement, and mise-en-place support as required.
- Maintain inventory and safe storage of kitchen equipment; report breakage, shortages, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all HACCP, food-safety, and personal hygiene protocols mandated by the client hotel.
- Wear prescribed uniform, footwear, and PPE at all times while on duty.
- Support periodic deep-cleaning drives and pest-control preparedness as scheduled by the kitchen management. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS • Eligibility — Age: 18–35 years.
- Education — Minimum Class 8 pass
- Class 10 pass preferred.
- Experience — Freshers may apply; 6 months–2 years of stewarding/housekeeping experience in hospitality preferred.
- Physical Fitness — Able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads,



and work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Availability — Willing to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Location — Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Visakhapatnam preferred; local hires given priority.
- Language — Basic spoken Telugu/Hindi; working knowledge of English an advantage.
- Attributes — Punctuality, hygiene consciousness, teamwork, and willingness to follow instructions.

COMPENSATION &

- STATUTORY COMPLIANCE • Fixed monthly in-hand salary of ₹12,000–₹13,000, payable through bank transfer as per Florence Manpower payroll cycle.
- ESI and EPF contributions deducted and deposited as per applicable statutory wage ceilings and rates in force.
