We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our IT Department at a leading news/media organization in Hyderabad.

The candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to employees and different departments.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Install and maintain Windows operating systems and required software.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and printer-related issues.
- Manage basic user accounts, access permissions, and shared folders.
- Assist with data backup and system security.
- Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related issues.
- Support the Newsroom, MCR, PCR, Video Editing, Graphics, Digital, and other departments with their IT requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize operational downtime.
- Provide IT support in a fast-paced 24×7 news channel environment when required.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Positive knowledge of Windows 10/11 and computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and software installation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Windows Server / Active Directory
- Network troubleshooting
- CCTV and access control systems
- NAS/storage and backup systems
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge
- Experience in a News Channel, TV Channel, Media, Broadcasting, or 24×7 organization will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Willing to handle urgent technical issues when required.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced media environment.

Salary

₹20k – ₹25k per month, depending on experience and skills.
