About the Role:

We are looking for a scrappy, fast, and creative Video Editor & Short-Form Content Creator who lives and breathes Instagram Reels, short-form video, and visual storytelling.

You will be responsible for shooting and editing short-form video and graphic assets for Fume’s Instagram and other social media channels. Working directly with our strategy team, you will turn raw office life, architectural details, member interviews, and business insights into clean, high-performing reels, carousels and ads.

Key Responsibilities1. On-Site Shooting & Production (Fortnightly Batch Shoots)

- Travel to Fume centres in Udyog Vihar (Gurgaon) and NSP (Delhi) fortnightly to shoot raw content.
- Film a variety of formats: workplace viral/creative/comedy skits with staff, ambient ASMR/aesthetic shots, member vox pops/interviews, and behind-the-scenes floor build footage.
- Shoot efficiently using smartphones (iPhone/high-end Android) or cameras, utilizing basic wireless microphones and lighting setups.

2. Post-Production & Editing (12–20 Reels & Assets / Month)

- Reels (15–30 Seconds): Edit engaging, fast-paced reels optimized for high completion rates and DM shares.
- Hook Optimization: Design strong visual and text hooks in the first 3 seconds to prevent skips.
- Sound Design: Source trending audio for humor skits and mix high-quality original ambient sound for ASMR/aesthetic reels.

3. Content Execution Across Different Content

You will execute content across different strategic content buckets including:

Office Life: Trending audio skits, workplace memes, and relatable Delhi/NCR corporate tropes (themes).
2. Workspace Envy (Aesthetic/ASMR): Light, shadow, coffee machines, keyboard sounds, and room reveals.
3. Made Here (Process): Before-and-after space reveals, construction/renovation process, and design decisions.
4. The Members (Social Proof): 1-question interviews, switch stories, and quote cards.

Required Skills &

• Qualifications

- Experience: 1–2 years of experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) OR a portfolio showcasing short-form editing skills.
- Editing Software: Proficiency in Mobile and Desktop video editing tools like native IG editor, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Pacing &

• Hook Mastery:

Understanding of retention editing—cuts, text pop-ups, sound effects, and audio timing.
- Typography &

• Visual Aesthetics:

Strong eye for clean fonts, color hierarchy, and brand consistency.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

- On-camera confidence (willingness to participate in or direct team skits /reel-shoots).
- Familiarity with current Instagram algorithm dynamics (DM shares, saves, retention graphs).
- Basic mobile lighting and wireless mic operation.
