Role Description The Instrumentation Engineer will work on-site at the company’s facility in Maharashtra, India in a full-time capacity, supporting the reliable operation of process instrumentation and control systems. Daily responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining field instruments, control panels, and PLC/DCS systems used in chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role involves monitoring process parameters, diagnosing equipment issues, and performing corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure safety and product quality.

The engineer will conduct routine calibration,



inspection, and preventive maintenance tasks, while maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with cGMP and regulatory standards. Collaboration with process, production, electrical, and maintenance teams is required to support continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, and plant expansion projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in process control and instrumentation for chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess hands-on troubleshooting and calibration skills for sensors, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess foundational electrical engineering skills for working with control panels, wiring, and industrial automation systems.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in industrial plants (preferably chemical, pharma, or specialty chemicals) and familiarity with cGMP, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals, with positive documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work safely in a production environment, including rotating or extended shifts if required.
