Role Description Role Description The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Partnering with leadership to forecast staffing requirements and support organizational growth.
- Developing and implementing HR policies, processes, and systems aligned with organizational goals.
- Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, feedback, disciplinary procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Coordinating payroll and benefits administration with the Finance team.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Planning and coordinating training and development programs, workshops, and leadership/soft-skills initiatives.
- Driving employee engagement and culture-building activities to promote a positive and learning-oriented workplace.
- Supporting performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, feedback, and development plans.
- Supporting organizational change management and HR-related initiatives.
- Collaborating effectively with academic teams, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
- Handling sensitive employee matters with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR operations and enhance the overall employee experience.
Qualifications
- Solid HR operations and administration skills, including experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, and HRIS or HR software tools.
- Expertise in employee relations and performance management, with the ability to handle conflict resolution, feedback processes, and disciplinary procedures in a fair and transparent manner.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in workplace policies, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Skills in training and development, including designing or coordinating learning programs, workshops, and leadership or soft-skills training.
- Solid communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with academic staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and demonstrate a proactive, high-integrity approach to confidential information and sensitive HR matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR qualification or relevant certification (such as SHRM or similar) is an advantage.
