? THE ROLE Part-Time Freelance Video Editor

Output: 15 Reels / Month

You’ll be responsible for creating engaging short-form content for NOCTRN across Instagram and paid advertising.

WHAT YOU'LL DO • Edit Instagram Reels, UGC content, product videos and Meta ads

- Create strong hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
- Turn raw footage into engaging, story-driven short-form content
- Add captions, subtitles, text animations, transitions, music and sound effects
- Create different hooks and variations from the same footage for creative testing
- Understand pacing, retention and short-form storytelling
- Create product, fashion and lifestyle edits that fit NOCTRN's visual identity
- Work with the team on creative concepts and content iterations
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, editing styles and performance creatives
- Take feedback, iterate quickly and continuously improve your work

⭐ KEY REQUIREMENTS CAMERA HOME STUDIO — A camera and basic home studio setup is strongly preferred.

PRODUCT SHOOTING — We may send products to you for content shoots. You should be comfortable shooting the products/content and safely sending the products back to us.

MOTION GRAPHICS — Strong understanding of motion graphics, text animation and visual effects is preferred.

CAPTIONS — You should know how to create clean, engaging and well-timed captions/subtitles.

REELS ADS — Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, UGC and performance-focused video ads.

LEARNING MINDSET — We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, experiment and improve with every project. You should be comfortable working with a learning curve rather than repeatedly following the same style.

DESIGN SENSE — A robust eye for typography, composition,



colours, fashion and visual storytelling.

CREATIVE THINKING — We want someone who can bring ideas to the table, not just edit exactly what they're given.

SOFTWARE Experience with

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut

You don't need to know every software — we care more about the quality and creativity of your work.
