Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Freelance Graphic Web Designer supporting Akums’ digital and brand initiatives. The designer will create and refine web graphics, layouts, and visual assets for websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns. Daily responsibilities include designing brand-consistent visuals, optimizing graphics for performance and accessibility, and collaborating with marketing and communications teams to translate concepts into engaging designs.

The role also involves updating existing web pages,



ensuring visual coherence across platforms, and delivering production-ready files on schedule. The designer is expected to manage their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and adhere to Akums’ brand and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong visual design capabilities, including Graphics and Graphic Design skills suited for web and digital environments.

- Brand development experience, with proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to maintain consistent visual identity.

- Expertise in Typography and layout principles for explicit, readable, and aesthetically balanced web designs.

- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with responsive web design best practices.

- Ability to interpret briefs, work independently in a remote setting, and meet deadlines for multiple projects.

- Understanding of basic UX/UI principles, web usability, and asset optimization for different devices and screen sizes.

- Previous experience designing for healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries is an advantage.

- Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
