ROLE OVERVIEW The CAD Draftsman (Fresher) will assist in preparing engineering working drawings pipeline network drawings and GIS-based drawings across infrastructure consultancy projects under the guidance and supervision of senior draftsmen. This role is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to build hands-on drafting expertise on live infrastructure projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To review and assess the Drawing Requirements. Planning of Assignments targeted within Time Limit Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction. Client Communications & Response Management for the Work Assignments allotted. To learn drawing standards quality benchmarks and best practices from senior draftsmen. To study the Inputs for Preparation of Drawings & Reports. To assist in preparing Engineering Working Drawings in GAD/GFC Formats in the Relevant Software / As per the Design Requirements under supervision. To assist in preparing Pipeline Network Drawings C/S L/S OR As per Client Requirements.



To learn and work on GIS Platform to prepare drawings as per GIS Formats. To submit completed assignments to the reporting manager for review and approval. To be responsible for day-to-day entrusted works in relation to the Assignments. To assist in maintaining the DCI timely as per required formats. To coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams as directed to support timely achievement of targets. To assist in checking Engineering Drawings prior to submission under the guidance of senior draftsmen. To maintain proper discipline and punctuality during your employment tenure. To maintain effective communication and periodically report progress to the reporting manager escalating issues requiring decisions from the Client / Project team. To maintain the work etiquettes at all times during your employment tenure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & SKILLS Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / in Civil Engineering (Preferred). Additional certification in AutoCAD / GIS / Civil 3D preferred. Technical & Functional Skills Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant drafting software; academic or internship project experience in GAD/GFC drawings preferred.



Basic understanding of pipeline network drawings (cross-sections longitudinal sections) preferred. Basic exposure to GIS platforms and GIS-format drawing preparation will be an added advantage. Willingness to learn drawing quality-checking processes under the guidance of senior team members. Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Good academic foundation in engineering drafting with a robust willingness to learn and grow within a live infrastructure consultancy environment. Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure timely closure of drawing assignments. High ownership problem-solving ability attention to detail and eagerness to work closely with and learn from senior team members. Fresh graduates / candidates with 0-1 year of experience in engineering drafting are encouraged to apply; internship or academic project exposure to GIS-based drawing preparation preferred.
