English Literature Tutor (Online) | Years 3–11 | GCSE, KS2 SATs & 11+

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated English Educator to join our growing team and deliver engaging online lessons to students from Year 3 through Year 11.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver high-quality online English lessons to students across Years 3–11.
n
- Prepare students for:
n
- KS2 SATs
n
- 11+ Grammar School Entrance Examinations
n
- GCSE English Language and English Literature
n
- Develop lesson plans, resources, homework, and assessments tailored to individual student needs.
n
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
n
- Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment.
n
- Adapt teaching methods to suit students of varying abilities and learning styles.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- A Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Literature, Education, or a related field.
n
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.
n
- Solid understanding of the *UK National Curriculum*.
n
- Experience preparing students for *GCSE, KS2 SATs, and 11+ examinations*.
n
- Familiarity with major *GCSE exam boards**, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Eduqas*.
n
- Ability to confidently teach students from *Year 3 to Year 11*.
n




- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
n
- Access to a *pen tablet* and/or proficiency in using an *interactive online whiteboard* for lesson delivery.
n
- Reliable internet connection and a qualified online teaching setup.
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
- Previous experience teaching within the UK education system.
n
- Experience working with high-achieving students and grammar school entrance preparation.
n
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
n
