Roles & Responsibilities:
n
• Performing testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification,
n
etc.
n
n
- Provide necessary support to the team manager on Assurance engagement formalities
n
- Handle areas and work allocated including testing and relevant Assurance procedures
n
- Prepare Assurance work papers and ensure compliance with firms policies and procedures and
n
n
also regulatory requirements.
n
n
- Manage and supervise junior team members including article staff.
n
- Act as a SPOC for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination
n
n
and discussions.
n
n
- Coordinate with internal and external teams including client personnel for information/ data
n
- Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues,
n
n
and research solutions.
n
• Support the team manager in project management, preparing status updated, compiling
n
requirements lists, etc
n
• Participate in meeting with various teams and contribute for the areas and responsibilities
n
handled.
n
n
- Understanding business & industry issues / trends.
n
- Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per the defined timelines.
n
- Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures.
n
- Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with recent
n
n
pronouncements relating to Ind AS.
n
• Ownership and accountability of delivering all aspects of the Assurance engagement, from start
n
to finish.
n
• Be responsible to front end and manage the internal and external quality review process for
n
respective engagements and deliverables.
n
• Collaborate with teams including with experts and specialists involved in supporting delivery of
n
Assurance engagements.
n
• Responsible for the operational matters including, billing, collections, efficiency and optimal
n
utilisation of efforts and resources, monitoring engagement budgets, etc.
n
• Proactively taking up full responsibility of documentation and guiding/monitoring junior
n
resources of the team
