Job Description

n

Responsibilities

n

Responsible for identifying unemployed from nearby underserved communities

n

Engaging and getting them enrolled through various mobilization strategies into various training programs

n

Maintaining strong community relations to ensure participation of children, and in Nirmaan activities

n

Creating platforms at a community level through which can be counselled on various professional opportunities

n

Basic knowledge on digital marketing

n

Run varies digital campaigns

n

Regular Tasks:

n

Information Dissemination & Mapping catchment area

n

Conducting mobilization drives (Door to door canvassing, Public Announcements)

n

Documenting into database

n





Follow-up for suitable candidates to get them enrolled

n

Raising local volunteers & Point of Contacts in community

n

Home visits for trainees & Planning community events

n

Sending press notes and maintaining healthy relationships with local news reporters

n

Essential Skills

- Very good Communication skills in English, Telugu and Hindi

- Team Player

- Patience to teach, counsel and motivate
n
- Willing to spend time in the community at grass-root level and travel
n

Education Qualification

n

Graduate / MSW (in social sciences / community development will be preferred)

n

Preferred Experience:

n

2+ years of experience in NGO's
