Our business operates across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce, pharmacies, distributors and doctor-led channels. As we scale, we are looking for a hands-on Chartered Accountant to strengthen our finance, accounting and financial control functions.

The Role

n

We are looking for a CA who has spent at least 2 years working within a D2C/startup environment and understands the financial complexity of a multi-channel consumer business.

n

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can go beyond compliance and take ownership of accounting, reconciliations, MIS, cash flow, financial controls and business reporting.

What You'll Own

n

Finance & Accounting

n

n
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure accuracy of books.
n
- Manage month-end and year-end closing.
n
- Review ledgers, journal entries, provisions, expenses and balance-sheet reconciliations.
n
- Ensure proper accounting treatment across revenue, expenses, inventory and other transactions.
n
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting SOPs.
n

D2C & Ecommerce Reconciliations

n

n
- Oversee reconciliation of payment gateways, bank accounts, COD collections and courier partners.
n
- Reconcile settlements from Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces.
n
- Reconcile sales and collections across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce and offline channels.
n
- Identify settlement discrepancies, deductions, returns, refunds and outstanding receivables.
n

MIS & Business Finance

n

n
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.
n
- Track revenue, gross margins, channel profitability, operating expenses and working capital.
n
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
n
- Provide management with clear financial insights for business decision-making.
n
- Monitor cash flows, receivables, payables and vendor payment cycles.
n

Compliance & Controls

n

n
- Ensure timely GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.
n
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, Company Secretary and other external professionals.
n
- Support statutory audits, tax audits and financial due diligence.
n
- Ensure proper documentation and financial governance as the company scales.
n

You Should Have

n

n
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
n
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
n
- Prior in-house experience with a D2C / consumer startup is mandatory.
n
- Strong understanding of ecommerce accounting and reconciliations.
n
- Experience with payment gateways, marketplace settlements, COD and multi-channel revenue reconciliation.
n
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards and statutory compliance.
n
- Strong command of Tally and Excel.
n
- Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and independently investigating reconciliation differences.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Willingness to be hands-on rather than functioning only as a reviewer or manager.

Preferred Background

n

Experience with consumer healthcare, wellness, nutraceuticals, FMCG, personal care or other high-volume consumer brands would be an advantage.

n
