Responsibilities : Responsible for managing, supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications across manufacturing operations.

n

The role acts as the bridge between Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure seamless MES operations, system reliability, process improvements, and digital manufacturing initiatives.

n

MES Application Management

n

n
- Lead implementation, configuration, and support of MES applications.
n
- Machine utilization, OEE, cycle time analysis, tool life management, and downtime tracking
n
- Ensure MES systems operate efficiently with maximum uptime.
n
- Manage MES upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
n
- Monitor application performance and resolve issues proactively.
n
- Maintain MES master data, workflows, and business rules.
n

Production & Operations Support

n

n
- Provide proactive support for MES-related incidents.
n
- Troubleshoot production issues impacting manufacturing execution.
n
- Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
n
- Support manufacturing schedules and production reporting requirements.
n

n

System Integration

n

n
- Manage integrations between MES and:
n
- Machine Integration (PLCs and PC based)
n
- SAP
n
- PLM Systems
n
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
n
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
n

n

Continuous Improvement

n

n




- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
n
- Lead digital manufacturing initiatives.
n
- Drive MES standardization across production lines and plants.
n
- Implement best practices for manufacturing execution and traceability.
n

Project Management

n

n
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders.
n
- Prepare functional specifications and solution designs.
n
- Manage MES implementation projects from planning through deployment.
n
- Ensure project delivery as per BRD within scope, schedule, and budget.
n

n

Compliance & Documentation

n

n
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
n
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
n
- Support internal and external audits.
n
- Manage change control and validation activities where required.
n

n

Team Leadership

n

n
- Mentor MES engineers, analysts, and support personnel.
n
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and user training.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders.
n
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers.
n

n

Education

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field Computer Science / Information Technology /Electronics & Communication
n

n

Experience

n

n
- 6 to 10 years of experience in MES applications and manufacturing systems, CNC Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
n
- 3+ years in a leadership or team management role.
n
- Experience in discrete & repetitive manufacturing, automotive, electronics, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing environments (EMS).
n

Technical Skills

n

n
- Strong experience with MES application, Knowledge of APIs, Machine Integration API method, Web Services, and System Interfaces, IIoT, AI / Machine Learning, CNC Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
n
- SQL Server / Oracle Database knowledge.
n
- Knowledge of C#, Java, Python (Preferred)
n
- Experience with SAP integrations.
