Head of Technology

Location: South Delhi, NCR

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Define and own overall technology strategy, architecture standards, and multi-year technical roadmap.
n
- Build, structure, and scale the Tech Team from the ground up, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management for direct and indirect reports.
n
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, particularly government and enterprise accounts, including participation in RFPs, technical due-diligence, and security/compliance reviews.
n
- Own architecture and technology decisions for IoT product line, including build-vs-buy, vendor selection, and platform choices.
n
- Establish engineering best practices — code quality, testing, deployment, and security standards — across all pods.
n
- Own technical risk management, including escalation and resolution of critical production or client-facing issues.
n
- Partner with the CMD on resourcing, budget, and prioritization decisions for the technology function.
n
- Represent technology considerations in company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies

n

n
- Deep hands-on background in software architecture and systems design, with credibility across at least one major technology stack.
n
- Strong understanding of IoT product architecture — device connectivity, edge/cloud data flows,



and platform integration.
n
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), security fundamentals, and data-compliance frameworks relevant to government/enterprise clients.
n
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
n
- Strong people-leadership skills — hiring, mentoring, and performance management of technical teams.
n

Targeted Qualifications

n

n
- 12–18+ years of progressive technology leadership experience (CTO / VP Engineering / Head of Engineering or equivalent).
n
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling IoT products end-to-end.
n
- Track record leading client-facing technical relationships, ideally including government or large-enterprise accounts.
n
- Supply chain and logistics domain exposure strongly preferred.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
n
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 10+.
n

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

n

n
- Prior experience in a founder-led or rapid-scaling company moving from ad hoc to structured technology practices.
n
- Direct experience with government procurement or compliance processes (e.g., data localization, security clearances).
n
- Existing network of technical talent in Delhi/NCR to support future hiring.
