Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly shop-floor production activities.
Handle and allocate manpower as per project priorities.
Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, drilling, tapping, mechanical assembly, pneumatic assembly, and other manufacturing activities.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and shop-floor resources.
Track project-wise manufacturing progress against committed timelines.
Identify delays and take corrective action to achieve project targets.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Electrical, Automation, and Project teams.
Ensure material availability as per the manufacturing plan.
Monitor work quality and reduce rework.
Conduct daily shop-floor meetings and review work progress.
Maintain daily production and project status reports.
Ensure shop-floor discipline, safety, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
Support machine trials, FAT, and pre-dispatch readiness.




Develop and guide supervisors, technicians, welders, fitters, and other shop-floor employees.

Required Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in shop-floor, production, or manufacturing management.
Preferred experience of 710 years in industrial automation, SPM manufacturing, machine building, fixtures, assembly lines, or automotive automation.
Solid experience in manpower handling and production planning.
Valuable understanding of
Mechanical drawings
Fabrication and welding
VMC / machining
Drilling and tapping
Mechanical assembly
Pneumatics
Basic electrical and automation coordination
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Robust problem-solving and leadership skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
