Role & responsibilities

Their main duties and responsibilities include:
Providing information to students about overseas educational opportunities
Advising students on application procedures, visa requirements, and preparation for their overseas study
Liaising with international colleges and universities to keep up-to-date with admission requirements and procedures
Assisting students in preparing effective applications, including guiding them through the process of writing personal statements and gathering necessary documentation
Organizing and leading information sessions and workshops related to study abroad programs
Helping students understand the cultural and academic differences they may encounter abroad
Building and maintaining relationships with both students and international institutions
Monitoring application processes to ensure deadlines are met and applications are successful
Providing pre-departure briefings and support to prepare students for their move

Responsibilities
Provide guidance and advice to students on international education opportunities and requirements.




Assist students in selecting suitable programs and institutions based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals.
Help students understand and complete application processes for foreign educational institutions.
Provide assistance with obtaining visas, accommodation arrangements, and other logistical matters related to studying abroad.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with international educational institutions.
Keep up to date with developments in the field of international education.
Conduct informational sessions, workshops, and presentations on international education prospects.

Qualifications
Proven work experience in international education counseling or related field.
Knowledge of international education systems and application processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
Bachelors degree in counseling, education, or a related field.
