Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology.
Roles & Responsibilities
Set up and operate haemodialysis machines, ensuring proper functioning.
Assist with patient positioning, monitor vital signs, and provide comfort during treatments.
Perform dialysis as per protocol, including femoral dialysis.
Care for vascular access and other open wounds.
Handle dialysis-related emergencies and management.
Reprocess dialysers with all required precautions as per protocol.
Maintain inventory and report supply shortages.
Report equipment malfunction to the concerned department.
Operate and monitor the RO water treatment system.
Perform routine RO maintenance and troubleshooting and maintain water quality records.
Monitor patients for complications during treatment and report abnormal findings promptly.
Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of dialysis machines and patient areas.
Maintain accurate patient, treatment, equipment, and RO system records.
Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Respond to patient emergencies and assist with critical interventions when required.
Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of dialysis equipment.
Knowledge of RO water treatment systems.
Ability to work in a quick-paced healthcare workplace.
Positive communication and patient-handling skills.
Ability to remain calm during emergencies.
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols.
