Role: Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Sales
Manage day-to-day business operations to ensure the store runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Drive sales performance to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, daily reconciliation, and basic administrative paperwork.
Coordinate in-store promotional events, product demonstrations, and interactive play areas.

Merchandising & Inventory
Maintain vibrant, eye-catching visual merchandising that highlights hot toys, seasonal trends, and recent product launches.
Monitor stock levels, place timely product reorders with vendors, and manage incoming shipments.
Conduct regular inventory counts and minimize product loss or shrinkage.





Team Leadership & Customer Service
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate retail sales associates.
Set transparent staff schedules, delegate floor tasks, and foster an upbeat team culture.
Model exceptional customer service, turning customer concerns or complaints into positive experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven retail management experience, ideally within specialty retail, toys, or children's goods.
Education: High school diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or Education is a plus.
Skills: Solid leadership, verbal communication, basic financial literacy (budgets and profit-and-loss awareness), and familiarity with POS/inventory software.
Traits: High energy, approachable, passionate about play and toys, and patient with families and children.
