JD: Load Balancing Engineer / Specialist

Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise load balancing solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and manage load balancers on A10 Networks and Cloud load balancing skills.
Implement traffic distribution strategies (round robin, least connections, weighted).
Ensure application availability and performance through redundancy and failover.
Troubleshoot load balancing issues across multi-tier architectures.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to optimize delivery.
Maintain documentation, policies, and compliance for load balancing infrastructure.

Primary Skills




Expertise in enterprise load balancers (Primary skills - A10 Networks, Cloud load balancing ( AWS/GCP/Azure) Secondary - Arista Networks, F5, Citrix NetScaler, HAProxy, etc.).
Robust knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Experience with application delivery controllers (ADC).
Familiarity with cloud-native load balancing (AWS ELB/ALB, Azure Front Door).

Secondary Skills
Scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
Knowledge of DNS, firewalls, and reverse proxies.
Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD integration for application delivery.
