HSE Manager Bangalore

Reporting to: Plant Manager / Unit Head is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental activities at our Bangalore manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening safety culture, managing environmental performance and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation, statutory requirements, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Identify hazards and conduct HIRA, risk assessments, safety audits and inspections.
Lead investigation of accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, including RCA and CAPA implementation.
Develop and conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, awareness programs and contractor safety inductions.
Manage emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation procedures and mock drills.
Ensure proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, environmental compliance and pollution-control requirements.
Monitor HSE KPIs,



prepare monthly/quarterly reports and identify improvement prospects.
Manage contractor/vendor HSE compliance and ensure adherence to site safety standards.
Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR, SCM and other functions to integrate HSE into daily operations.
Support Lean, Kaizen, TPM and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
5–10 years of HSE experience, including 3+ years in a managerial/plant HSE role, preferably in chemical, paints, adhesives, rubber, specialty chemicals or process manufacturing.
NEBOSH/IOSH and ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
Robust knowledge of Indian factory, environmental and statutory regulations.
Positive analytical, communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office, Power BI and HSE reporting systems.
