HiAstro is a Vedic astrology platform built for an Indian audience that the rest of the industry tends to under-serve. Our user base skews Tier 2 and Tier 3, and many of our users are encountering a product like this for the first time.

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, curious, and people-oriented Customer Experience Representative who can help us understand our users better.

This is not just a support role. You will regularly speak with users, conduct interviews, test the product with real people, identify patterns in their behaviour and feedback, and bring helpful insights back to the team.

What You Will Do
Speak with users over calls to understand their experience, concerns, and expectations
Conduct structured user interviews and questionnaires
Participate in on-ground research approach people, get them to try HiAstro, observe their experience, and ask relevant follow-up questions
Identify recurring user pain points, behavioural patterns, and product gaps
Test existing and recent product experiences and proactively flag issues




Document and synthesise feedback into clear, actionable insights for Product, Growth, and Operations
Own user conversations and follow-ups through closure
Support the Customer support channel proactively

What We are Looking For
Excellent communication and people skills;
comfortable speaking tostrangers both over calls and in person
Curious and perceptive able to ask good follow-up questions rather than mechanically following a script
Quick on their feet, with strong common sense and judgement
Proactive and high-ownership;
doesn’t need constant instructions to move things forward
Organised, dependable, and able to communicate findings clearly
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup setting
Fluent/comfortable in both Hindi and English

Experience
Prior experience in customer experience, user research, operations, sales, community, or another consumer-facing role is a plus,
