NIPS Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata is looking for a seasoned English Communication & Soft Skills Faculty who can help students become confident, articulate and professionally prepared communicators.
We are not looking for a conventional English literature or grammar teacher. We need an experienced trainer who understands how to teach English as a practical communication skill and can work with students of different proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct practical classes in Spoken English and English Communication.
Improve students' fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence formation.
Help students overcome hesitation and develop confidence in speaking English.
Train students in skilled communication and workplace English.
Conduct sessions in public speaking, presentations, group discussions and extempore speaking.
Train students in interview skills,



self-introduction and professional conversation.
Conduct mock interviews and prepare students for internships, placements and management trainee selections.
Teach qualified email writing and basic business communication.
Develop students' grooming, body language, etiquette, personality and professional presence.
Conduct hospitality-related role plays and guest-interaction exercises.
Identify weaker students and provide structured improvement and individual feedback.
Regularly assess progress in communication, confidence and presentation skills.
Coordinate with faculty and placement teams to improve overall industry readiness.

Candidate Profile
Master's Degree in English, Communication, Linguistics, ELT, Education or a relevant discipline.
Preferably 5+ years of experience in English communication training, soft-skills training, personality development or skilled education.
