Roles & Responsibilities
To plan and execute OPGW project.
Supervise OPGW stringing, sagging, clipping, jointing, and fiber splicing activities at site.
Ensure work execution as per approved methodology statements and safety procedures.
Coordinate with contractors, linemen, splicing teams, and testing teams.
Ensure availability of tools, tackles, and materials at site.
Monitor daily progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
Ensure compliance with quality standards and conduct site-level inspections.
Assist in OTDR testing, attenuation measurement, and documentation.
Coordinate with client representatives and utility officials during site execution.
Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to EHS norms at site.
Report site issues, risks, and delays to the Project/Zone Manager.
