Flings is a recent contemporary bar and food concept in Mumbai, currently building its opening kitchen team.

The Role
We are looking for a pastry/dessert commis who enjoys both classic pastry techniques and creative dessert development.

Responsibilities
Prepare pastry and dessert components
Accurate weighing and recipe execution
Prepare creams, mousses, sauces, gels, crumbles and baked components
Dessert mise en place and plating
Maintain consistency, hygiene and organisation
Assist with dessert trials and R&D;
Proper labelling, storage and stock rotation

Requirements




1–3+ years of pastry/dessert kitchen experience preferred
Robust basic pastry fundamentals
Positive understanding of baking and dessert components
Accurate and detail-oriented
Clean and organised
Creative and open to experimentation
Pastry/culinary qualification is an advantage

Freshers with strong pastry training may also apply.
