We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Lead with 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably with a background in an IT services or technology company operating in the US market. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on expertise in US GAAP, exposure to IFRS, and a solid understanding of US accounting practices, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

The candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and supporting business and finance stakeholders with reliable financial information. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and the confidence to work independently in a US-focused accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities




- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for US-based entities, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, account schedules, and supporting documentation in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure proper application and interpretation of US GAAP accounting principles across revenue, expenses, accruals, fixed assets, leases, and other accounting areas.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, unusual movements, and variances.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax teams, and other finance functions to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
